Thanks for visiting our web site.  Great Neck Baptist, led by our senior pastor, Todd Holt, is a church that meets you right where you are.  Whether you are just curious about church and God, or you're a committed Christ follower, you are welcome here.  Enjoy your visit to greatneckbaptist.org but don't stop here. What's going on:

• Tonight, June 29, All-Church Family Fun Night and Ice Cream Social, Testimonies from the Youth Mission Trip.

• The GNBC Softball team is grateful for the support of the church family and all who donated softballs and those that came out and supported the team.  Tim and the GNBC Team

• GNBC Book Club! We are on our 3rd book, "The 100 Most Important Events in Christian History", by Curtis, Lang & Petersen. Cost is $13, and our in the church office. Our next meeting will be Monday July 15. Be sure to RSVP for lunch or dinner with the Pastor.

• The Wednesday dinner cooks appreciate knowing ahead of time how much food to prepare, so please try to remember to sign-up on the back bulletin board if you plan to join us for the Wednesday meal. You can also "sign-up" by calling Judy at 481-1573 by noon on Monday. There is a cost increase for 2008, $4.00 adults and $2.50 for children.

• G.R.O.W-needs more volunteers for GNBC Sunday Visitation: Every Sunday at 4:30 pm will be visiting people who are coming to Great Neck and sharing information about our church with them.  If you would like to become a part of this ministry, please contact Pastor Todd.

• Genesis: Back the Beginning. Have you ever wondered: Who made God? Where did I come from? Is evolution true? Why do I sin? Why is there suffering and evil? These questions and more are all answered in the book of Genesis.  Join Pastor Todd on Wednesday nights at 6:30pm as we study the book of Genesis. Our next study will continue in Genesis 17.   Don't forget our dinner at 5:30, AWANA 6-730 pm,( Awana starts back in the fall...the award ceremony was held this past Wednesday) midweek service/Adult Bible Study 6:30 -7:30 pm.

• Mens Ministry- Every Monday at 7pm, join us as we study the Parables. Also Thursday's at 7:30 for a men's study- Man in the Mirror.

• TWB-Together We Build Campaign will be putting all information on the website as we receive it.  We will have as much information that the designer, builder, committees can provide to answer all your questions.  If you have any questions please feel free to ask here, by clicking on  Family Life Questions.  Or visit the Family Life Center Page.

We are working to upgrade this site to be informative and help you and your family get connected to God.  Next time you are in the area we invite you to join us here at Great Neck.  If you live in Virginia Beach or the surrounding area, we have Sunday morning and evening services, and Wednesday prayer meetings.
