Dr. K. Todd Holt, Senior Pastor

 

Pastor Todd has been our pastor since March of 2000.  He is a graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from Beeson School of Divinity at Samford University.  He is the proud husband of twenty-two years to his wife, Carol.  They have two children, Mason and Chelsea.  Pastor Todd is conservative in his theology but progressive in ways to reach people with the message of Christ.  He has preached in eleven states and has a desire to speak in all fifty.  His preferred preaching style is expository.  His heart is to love God, love others, and lead the world to Christ.  One of his favorite Bible verses is Philippians 4:13.

 

 

 Dave Rubright, Music and Choir Director

 

You can find “Rube” leading our congregation in singing praise and worship on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. His favorite Bible verse is Psalm 57:9.  He has been a member of Great Neck since 2000. He and his wife, Shari, have been married 21 years and have two children, Lindsey (19) and Blake (13). He teaches our SHAPE/Spiritual Gifts Discipleship Class in the Spring and Fall and welcomes anyone with a desire to know how God has “wired them into serving Him” to join his class.  Rube leads our Praise Team in practices on Tuesday evenings at 6:30pm and Choir practices on Wednesday nights at 7:30pm and also welcomes anyone with a song in their heart to come rejoice on either of these evenings as well.

 

 

Sarah Belanger, Administrative Secretary

 

Sarah and her husband, Ben, are college sweethearts. They have been married for 7 years and have a Boston Terrier named Remy. Although their roots are in the North, they have enjoyed making Virginia Beach their home since being stationed here by the Navy in 2010. Sarah's favorite book of the Bible is James. You can find her in the office Monday-Thursday from 10am-2pm.

 

    

 

                                 

 

Beth Fogelgren, Church Financial Secretary

 

Beth and her husband Mark, along with their two children, have been members of GNBC for over ten years.  She not only takes care of the church’s finances, but serves in children’s ministry, Wednesday night cooking team, and anywhere else she can help. 

 

 

 

 

Melodee Malone, Nursery Coordinator

Melodee recently took over the nursery position in the Spring of 2011.  She along with her husband John, have been active members of GNBC for nearly 6 years.  They are also the proud parents of Lilee(7), Logan(5), and Aidan(2).  You can find Melodee Sunday mornings in the Nursery or Wednesday nights teaching AWANA Cubbies.  She strives to provide our pre-schooled aged children with a fun, safe, and Christ centered environment.  Matthew 19:14.

 

 

 

 

Phyllis Bailey, Accompanist
